米国はいつ、戦争を始めるつもりでしょうか。

鈴置：英紙「ガーディアン」（the guardian）が「Have we got just three months to avert a US attack on North Korea?」（12月4日）で「米国は北朝鮮を来年3月までに先制攻撃するだろう」と報じました。

　根拠は米国の元国連大使、ボルトン（John Bolton）氏の発言です。同氏は11月の最終週に英下院を訪れ「CIA長官がトランプ大統領に対し『あと3カ月で、ワシントンを含む米国の全都市を核で攻撃できる能力を北朝鮮が持つ』と報告した」と語りました。引用します。

  • Last week John Bolton the former US ambassador to the UN and a notable hawk from the George W Bush era, visited London and the House of Commons. His mission, whether official or not: to relay that CIA chiefs have told Donald Trump that he has a “three-month window” in which to act to halt the North’s ICBM programme, after which the North Koreans will have the capability to hit US cities, including Washington, with a nuclear payload.

　ガーディアンは「3月がデッドラインになるが、先制攻撃が検討されているに違いない」（This apparent March deadline, for what can only be considered a pre-emptive strike, ）と結論付けました。

　「3月デッドライン説」を補強するために「米国の司令官が数日前に板門店（パンムンジョン）を訪れた元欧州議員にもそう、話していた」（was also mentioned to a former European parliamentarian by a senior US commander a few days ago at Panmunjom on Korea’s demilitarised zone, ）と指摘しました。

韓国から家族を戻せ

トランプ大統領に近い米上院議員が「米軍の家族を韓国から戻せ」と主張したそうですね。

鈴置：グラム（Lindsey Graham）議員が12月3日、CBSのインタビューに答え、そう語りました。「Sen. Graham says new N. Korea tech advances make pre-emptive war "more likely"」の見出し通り、まず「北朝鮮の核開発進展が先制攻撃の可能性を高めた」と述べました。

　そして「北朝鮮の挑発にさらされる韓国に、軍人の配偶者や子供を送るなんてとんでもないことだ。今、家族を韓国から呼び戻さねばならない」と語ったのです。次です。

　米国の脅しは口だけではありません。韓国空軍と合同で12月4日から8日まで大規模な演習「ビジラント・エース　18」（VIGILANT ACE　18）を朝鮮半島周辺で実施中です。F22やF35など最新鋭ステルス戦闘機を含む230機が参加しています。

　11月下旬には、第7艦隊の艦艇が横須賀に集結しました。有事に備え、弾薬や水・食糧などを一斉に補給していると専門家は見ています。空母も異例なことに、同時に5隻が太平洋に展開中です。
